Last month, Georgia Lane, the Director of Aging Initiatives at Ecolibrium3, joined Age-Friendly Minnesota for an energizing conversation about moving Minnesota’s Multisector Blueprint for Aging from inception to action.

If you’re not familiar with the Multisector Blueprint for Aging, it’s a statewide plan that brings together state departments, local governments, organizations, and communities to ensure all Minnesotans are included, valued, and have equitable opportunities to thrive as they grow older.

With continued leadership, collaboration, and support, we can help turn this blueprint into meaningful change in creating and sustaining an accessible, inclusive, and livable Duluth where people of all ages can live, work, and thrive.

Taking time to recognize the people making a meaningful impact in our community is how we continue to make Duluth a better place for everyone to call home.

That’s why we’re thankful for community members like Jenna Kowaleski and the Duluth News Tribune for taking the time to acknowledge one another for showing up in big and small ways.

Whether you’re shoveling a sidewalk for a neighbor, checking in on someone you care for, quietly simply showing up in ways that help make Duluth a safer, welcoming, and more accessible place for people of all ages to live, work, and thrive—we’re truly thankful for everything you do!

I see you out there all bundled up and trying not to slip. I know it’s inconvenient. Snow is heavy and it’s always cold outside. ... I see you. And I thank you.
