Saw this Homo ergaster at the museum today and couldn’t stop thinking about how much our jaws have changed through time. We’ve gone from strong, wide jaws that easily fit all our teeth to modern faces where we often struggle to make room for 4–8 of them.

It’s wild to realize how lifestyle, diet, and even the way we breathe have shaped us over time. Sometimes I wonder if having truly healthy airways might mean looking back — reconnecting with the natural development we once had, where the structure of our jaws supported not just our teeth, but our overall health and breathing.

Evolution doesn’t always move in one direction; sometimes it invites us to pause and reflect on what we may have lost along the way.

👧👦 Expansion isn’t only about creating space for permanent teeth. By widening the upper jaw, we also help open up the airway, giving kids more room to breathe, especially at night. Better breathing means better sleep, improved focus, and healthier growth. The sooner we can guide this growth, the bigger the benefits for your child’s smile and overall health. 💙

Finally US Public Health Department has made a statement about adverse effects of fluoride on kid’s IQ and development. There has been research supporting the neurotoxin effects of fluoride for decades now.
What can we do about it?
-Install water filtration system in homes to remove fluoride from drinking water
-See a holistic dentist to check if you really need fluoride in your toothpaste and dental materials and what are the safe alternatives

Team that works together, does yoga together. We would not be able to provide the best care for our patients if we didn’t care for ourselves. Combining our breathe with movement after a day of serving our patients helped us feel grounded and right where we should be. We aim to continue this practice together and alone to improve and heal our own bodies while we help you accomplish the same.
