Did you know, according to the Piedmont 65+ Dental Study:
Over the course of 5 years, individuals who did not floss, had a 41.6% increase of losing their molars compared to those who did not floss?

Good dental health habits will help preserve your teeth for as long as possible! Some good habits include:
-Brushing twice a day
-Flossing every day
-Avoid to***co products
-Limiting the amount of sugar you eat

What a wonderful night at the Georgia Aquarium this past Thursday!

A few of us at Team Schulman went to the membership meeting. We enjoyed our amazing speaker, Ms. Laci Phillips Newland, fun music, and of course great food and drinks.

According to the Cleveland Clinic "About 36% of people in the U.S. have a fear of dental treatment, with 12% having an extreme fear."

Dental Anxiety can be debilitating for anyone that struggles with it. But, as scary as it may be, we are here to help. If you, or someone you know, has anxiety when coming into the dentist then rest assured that we will do what we can to make you feel at ease.

Nitrous is one thing we offer in our office for patients who may need a little extra help. So, remember to ask your dentist if they have something to help you get through your appointment. Even if it's asking for your hand to be held, we are here for our patients. 😊

Here at Schulman Esthetic and General Dentistry we want to say thank you for being a loyal patient with our practice. We pride ourselves on doing a quality job and providing excellent dental care.
