Last weekend, Emory Education in Medical Emergencies (EME) and Volunteer Emory () brought students together to care for our community. At Dunwoody Nature Center, volunteers helped to transform the park by removing invasive plants, reforming eroded terrain, and relocating the caterpillar population to a safer environment. We hope our improvement efforts will allow the families of Dunwoody to enjoy the wonderful park!

Seeing as our National Two Step CPR event is this Saturday, this is our last Tuesday Takeover! Meet Jeffrey Ling, our volunteer coordinator. When asked what the two step means to him, Jeffrey responded, “A set of hands is all you need to potentially prevent another from dying of cardiac arrest. My goal is to work towards an Emory community where if a cardiac arrest were to occur on campus, a trained bystander will be able to intervene.

Join us for our FINAL Hands-Only CPR training session this Tuesday, March 22nd @ 6 PM EST to learn Hands-Only CPR with EME and SAHI! This will be the last opportunity for this semester. If you are interested in participating in our National Two Step event this Saturday, you will have needed to come to a training session this academic year. If you are interested in volunteering with us this Saturday and haven't come to a training session yet, join us tomorrow! The event will be held in ESC Multipurpose Room 2.
