Help us welcome, Mariana to our TOA family!

Hi! I’m Mariana. I’m currently a senior at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where I am working on getting my bachelors degrees in Psychology and English. I have always believed that I would work with children - helping them feel seen, heard, and understood. The plan is to hopefully, work in another country as a school psychologist or as a clinical psychologist, but before reaching that goal, I stumbled upon ABA therapy! And let me tell you, it is the most rewarding job that I have ever had thus far! If these kids taught me anything, it’s that there is never a dull moment when watching them reach their greatest potential.

Hello, my name is Hollee. I am a Registered Behavior Technician at The Owen Academy. I am currently earning my associate degree in Child Development and I am passionate about supporting children as they learn and grow. Helping children reach their goals and gain new skills is one of the most rewarding parts of what I do. There is nothing more fulfilling than seeing the progress, confidence, and happiness that shine through in our children each day. I am so thankful to be apart of our clients lives and our amazing team at TOA!

🌟 Out and About with Purpose 🌟

This morning, three of our littlest learners at The Owen Academy went on a community walk with their RBTs. 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ Community walks are more than just fresh air and sunshine—they’re an important part of ABA therapy.

During these outings, children practice real-life skills like:
✨ Following directions
✨ Staying safe near streets and sidewalks
✨ Communicating needs and choices
✨ Building confidence in new environments

Every step is a learning opportunity, and today’s walk was filled with smiles, progress, and lots of curiosity. 💛

At TOA, we believe therapy doesn’t just happen inside four walls—it happens everywhere our kids grow, explore, and shine. 🌈

Hi, I’m Zoe! I’m an Executive Assistant with a Bachelor of Arts and an MBA, and I’m passionate about helping leaders stay organized, efficient, and focused on big-picture goals. I love creating systems that make things run smoothly while also bringing creativity to marketing projects and planning memorable events.

Help us welcome, Emily to the TOA TEAM!

Hello! My name is Emily and I am an RBT at The Owen Academy in Durant. I am currently a
sophomore at Southeastern Oklahoma State University working towards my bachelors in clinical
psychology and minoring in early intervention and childhood development. I find that being an
RBT and working at TOA is extremely rewarding as I get to meet lots of different children with
widely ranging personalities and get to assist them in changes/developments that may impact
the rest of their lives!

🐯🏅 We are proud to announce that we now have two certified Special Olympics of Oklahoma Coaches! 🏅 🐯

👏 Congratulations to C.J. Halford, RBT, Athletic Director, and Brina Dutton, CEO, Owner, Coach, for earning their certifications!

This means that our amazing kiddos ages 8 and up will officially be participating in the Special Olympics — opening the door for inclusion, teamwork, and unforgettable experiences. 💙🧡
