If you run a creative business, you know inspiration comes in waves. Life looks different now with Sevyn. Motherhood is a full-time job, and that creative spark takes its time. I haven’t fully returned to my business yet, but creating little things here and there keeps me grounded. Here’s some art I made for Sevyn’s nursery on one of those inspired days. My scent preferences have totally changed since becoming pregnant. As someone who works with herbs, oils, and florals, this shift has been difficult. Especially since lavender is the most used scent of 7 Flora aromas.

Scents I used to love: lavender, vanilla, sage, basil, and some flowers.

Scents I’m loving now: fresh linen, citrus, bleach (yes 😅), cleaning products, wet woods, and fresh cut grass.

Anyone else experience this shift?

✨ A Little Pause, Big Plans Ahead ✨

Hey friends! I wanted to give you all a quick update—I’ll be taking a short break from small business operations as the start of this year has brought some exciting changes my way! While this means production is a bit complicated at the moment, I’ll be using this time to take a few courses, revamp my business plan, refresh my product line, and prepare for a big move.
