Just a Glimpse Bakery Making cheesecakes to help our medically fragile children with opportunities to enrich their lives. Our son Jesse was one of those children.

Everyday children with serious medical needs are fostered and adopted. He unfortunately passed away September 6th 2016 just a month before his special Make a Wish trip to Disney World. We were a medically fragile foster home for 6 years and have adopted 4 (including Jesse) kids who have ongoing medical issues. These kids are amazing and fight everyday to do things that typical children can do without thinking. Taking trips, visiting museums, or purchasing specialized toys helps our children escape doctor appointments, therapist appointments, and medical test. We average about 4 appointments a week. It has been a time where they can be kids and enjoy each other. Therefore, I am making cheesecakes and other baked goods to help our family be able to provide those things for them. Thank you for helping us give some childhood back to our amazing children. All the baked goods and cheesecakes are made from scratch and made to order. Just A Glimpse Bakery has always been a donation only company. For years the donations were designated to provide gifts for kids in foster care. Specifically those who were placed our foster home.
Now that our kids are growing up and our foster home is closed it time use the donations for another purpose.
For a little over a year I have been homeschooling kids that are high risk for not finishing high school. The Love Of Learning Academy currently has two older teens who come to my house to for school. The donations from cheesecakes will help pay for their curriculum, supplies, and tools to support them.
I would be happy to answer and questions you may have.
