Jen Fisher Yoga This website is to keep you informed about Jen Fisher Yoga. Class offerings, private session availability, retreats, kids yoga and more! Meet Jen.

Mom, teacher, dog lover, goof ball, friend. Jen grew up as a dancer and swimmer and was always active, spending lots of time outdoors. She attended The Pennsylvania State University, graduated in 1995 and has called Raleigh home ever since. Jen became a mom in 2003, the same year her mother was diagnosed with stage 3-C ovarian cancer. She had been taking yoga classes here and there, but found refu

ge and peace in the practice as she juggled taking care of her sick mother and nursing and caring for her newborn daughter. By 2005, Jen was practicing normally with her second daughter in her belly and was fully in love with yoga. When her daughters Sofia and Eliana were 3 and 5 years old, she began looking for kids yoga classes for them and came up empty. So she decided to become a teacher herself. She is a registered children's yoga teacher (RCYT) and completed trainings with Karma Kids in NYC, YogaKids and Mini Yogis. She found a loving and open studio owner, Carson Efird, who gave her the chance to begin teaching kids, which continues to thrive today. In 2008, she was so inspired by the teaching of Carson Efird, that she became a Registered Yoga Teacher in Carson's program, which is now a Prana Flow Yoga Affiliate Program through Shiva Rea's Samudra Global Living Yoga School. Jen continues her training as she is working on her 500 hour training with Shiva Rea. Jen is also faculty in Prana Flow Teacher Training Program at Evolve Movement in Raleigh, NC. Jen currently teaches at EVOLVE Movement in Cameron Village and takes private clients in her home. She is available for private instruction for kids and adults alike. She also loves doing yoga birthday parties. All ages, of course!

The Art of Hosting a Yoga Retreat

The Mistakes, Lessons, and Wisdom Behind 30+ Retreats Worldwide

A live 2-hour workshop for yoga teachers, wellness leaders, and anyone dreaming of creating retreats that are transformational, professionally run, and financially sustainable.

$45 • Live on Zoom • Replay Included for 7 Days

Have you dreamed of leading your own retreat…

…but feel overwhelmed by where to begin?

How do you choose the right venue? What do you charge? How do you fill the rooms? What happens when things go sideways? How do you create an experience people actually want to come back for?

After 15+ years of teaching yoga and leading more than 30 retreats in places like Tulum, the Dominican Republic, Sedona, the mountains and coast of North Carolina, and the breathtaking Amalfi Coast, I’ve learned that hosting a successful retreat takes far more than a beautiful destination and a dream.

It takes leadership. Strategy. Boundaries. Hospitality. Marketing. Pricing confidence. And the ability to learn from your mistakes.

In this workshop, I’ll share the real lessons, costly mistakes, behind-the-scenes strategies, and wisdom I’ve gained over 30+ retreats—so you don’t have to learn everything the hard way.

Why Learn from Me?

I’m not teaching theory. I’m teaching what I’ve lived.

Wednesday Morning flow at 1104 West Cabarrus Street is one of my favorite parts of my job. A group shows up each week with the agenda to only unplug from the outside world and plug in to what is to be found inside through the practice of yoga.

The class is open level, but not a beginner class. There are challenges and modifications and variations - all of it. But I always recommend a beginner to learn the basics - learn how to play the notes before you play jazz!

See you on the mat - register link in bio.

Our first teacher is our Mother...
Our first mantra her heartbeat.
Our first path is the path of love begun in the long nine month retreat when you were immersed in fluid movement and breath.
She is alive in your cells and flows through your blood.
She is still breathing, loving and guiding us back home.
Our first teacher is our Mother...
Our first mantra her heartbeat.
Our first path is the path of love begun in the long nine month retreat when you were immersed in fluid movement and breath.
She is alive in your cells and flows through your blood.

Brad is a yoga teacher and founded Druminyasa by connecting his love for rhythm, drums and movement.
Jen has been teaching yoga for over 16 years and was fortunate to experience yoga and live drumming in the early years of her study of yoga. She feels the combination helps guides students to a more potent and powerful connection of self and deeper meditative state.
