Hi! Do you want to support your health with herbs but don't know where to start? Have you tried taking herbs in the past but they didn't work? Maybe you heard that a plant is good for a cough or headache and you tried it, but it actually made it worse? For instance, elecampane and mullein are both great for the lungs and for coughs, but are used for very different types of coughs. If you have a wet-sounding cough with excess mucus, elecampane is great for breaking up that mucus and helping to expectorate it. It's a warming, stimulant expectorant, and while it's great for cold, wet, boggy coughs, it can aggravate a hot, dry, spasmodic cough. That's where mullein shines, moistening, soothing & relaxing those dry, irritated, spasming tissues and offering relief.
