38 Lessons from, 38 times around the sun 🌞

Stole this one a couple years ago from a mentor of mine, shout out Ste Lane. Gotta keep it going!💪

Oh and #4... am glad the "advisors" finally came around, just saying🤗 welcome to the conversation🤭

1. Marriage should change you
2. Children DO change you
3. Move today, move often, move because you can for tomorrow you may not be able to.
4. Food is medicine- Eat real food... been saying it for decades, maybe I should be HHS director 🤪
5. Drink water... just that drink water
6. Sleep is non-negotiable, prioritize sleep
7. Control what you can control
8. If you aren't changing, you're choosing
9. What I accept I am
10. Slow down, slow is accurate and accurate is fast
11. Discipline will always beat motivation
12. However, motivation is lightening in a bottle, capture that s**t and let it rip!
13. Care less what others think, they aren't thinking about you.
14. Listen with intent
15. Forgive often and easily
16. Love with all your heart
17. Find happiness
18. Bring happiness to others
19. Run faster than the other guy🥰
20. You're only as strong as your grip!
21. There is no need for sugar in the diet
22. 1% better every day
23. Enjoy the sun
24. Lift heavy often
25. Protein isn't just for athletes
26. Life doesn't get easier, you get better at it
27. The one who falls in love with the journey will walk further than the one who falls in love with the destination

⛔️A reoccurring conversation...

Too often, do I hear my doctor told me not to "workout"; avoid this, don't do these exercises, you aren't going to be able to do "THAT" anymore...

Sound familiar?

And here is the kicker, they are told this by people who have not studied movement, don't workout themselves, but sound so professional when they say things like this.

The TRUTH!! ✅️❤️

Movement done right heals!! It doesn't harm. Strength, mobility, and proper coaching builds resilience, not risk

Strength Training Vs. Cardio - The timeless argument!

While cardio is great for heart health and burning calories IN THE MOMENT, strength training takes it a step further. 🏋️‍♀️

✅Builds lean muscle (which helps you burn more calories at rest)
✅Strengthens bones and joints for long-term health
✅Improves posture, balance, and everyday movement
✅Boosts confidence in and out of the gym

Cardio has its place, but if you want results that last, strength training is the foundation. 💪 Start by building the strongest foundation you can and watch what you are capable of doing!
