ARRM responded to Governor Walz's announcement this afternoon with a press release calling for common-sense measures to protect individuals' care and ensure that providers have the guidance and resources they need to navigate this situation. We continue to monitor the situation and will keep you informed as we learn more.

Our Executive Director, Danielle Fox, had the privilege of representing over 200 providers across Minnesota alongside leaders from ARRM during a visit to the U.S. District Attorney’s Office.
Thank you to Acting U.S. Attorney Joseph Thompson for the invitation to meet with your team. Your sincere interest in hearing directly from quality providers, while addressing fraud, waste, and abuse, is deeply appreciated.
It was an important opportunity to share the realities of our work, highlight the integrity of our provider community, and reinforce our commitment to transparency and accountability.
Proud to be a voice for the people and programs that make a difference every day.

It was a great day in Brooklyn Park! The rain didn’t discourage our friends in Districts 38 and 43 from turning out for a great chat with Representative Samantha Vang and Senator Susan Pha. Thanks to Representative Vang and Senator Pha for your presence and thoughtful conversation today, and to all our attendees for being there to speak up for disability services in Minnesota.

Happy World Mental Health Day! Thank you to all our provider organizations and especially the direct support staff who support people's mental health every single day. While the mental health of individuals served is incredibly important, direct care workers' mental health also needs to be a priority. Take time today to do something for your own mental health (and/or the mental health of your team!), and learn more about from the World Health Organization.

Last night at our reception, we honored our four Legacy Leader Award recipients. John Estrem (Hammer Residences, Inc. & NER), Therese Davis (retired from Wingspan Life Resources), Sandy Henry (retired from Dungarvin Inc. and Sengistix, LLC), and Jon Nelson (retiring from RSI: Residential Services, Inc.) all received their awards and addressed the crowd. All four are pictured here flanked by ARRM's Board President Anna Hegland and ARRM's CEO Sue Schettle. Congratulations to our awardees, and thank you all for your dedication to disability services!
