MEAL TIMES

As a reminder for next week, (notices were handed out last week and early this week):

There will be no meals on:

Monday, December 30, 2024 (Day of Mourning)

Tuesday, December 31, 2024 (New Year's Eve)

Wednesday January 1, 2025 (New Year's Day)

due to the tribal holidays and closures.

We will have meals start back up regularly on Thursday, January 2, 2025.

Reminder that there are only Take-Out meals & Deliveries until further notice.

Take-Out begins at 12pm (noon).
Deliveries begin at 12:30pm

You DO not need to call in for a meal. If you've completed the new intake you are on one of the lists.
Everyone is required to update every 6 months.

Eligible elders who live in the communities can complete an Intake Form and come eat when in Eagle Butte doing business.

PLEASE share the information to your elders. Not everyone has social media.

The Welcome Back Bingo for Elder participants (fill out an intake form to be eligible if you haven't aready! ☺️) will be tomorrow, Friday, November 1, 2024 @ 2pm and will last through 4pm. It is just a short program and as we build our donation supply we will get bigger and better.

Welcome back Elders to Eat-In meals (Congregate)!
We also continue to have Take-Out meals & Deliveries.

Our numbers have tripled and go up every day!!! Something must be good! 😊 ❤️ Wopila goes out to GREAT cooks and GREAT staff! Come by and see the new Center for yourself!

If you're 60 years of age and older, and not sure if you completed the new intake form this year, ask for one anyway and fill it out. If we don't have a new intake form on file you will be asked to fill one out.

Doesn't take long! Name, address, contact & emergency contact info and check off boxes to questions on eating, etc.

Out of town Elders, stop in and do an intake form so when you're in town doing business or at clinic, you can come by for lunch! We have many elders already taking advantage of this option! ❤️

Important announcement.

The Nutrition Center will be closed until the Grand Opening. Effective today.

The staff have much work to do to get the Center ready. Watch late next month for announcements on the reopening.

Thanks to all the elders for being patient, ❤️ because this ended up to be a huge, time consuming task. But it is worth it for the elders and it will be a great new building you will walk into.

FYI... The Nutrition Center has been closed, except for deliveries, for NO OTHER reason except Renovation. The Renovation Project had some setbacks beyond the Center's control so is taking longer than expected. But the Renovation is coming along fine.

Announcements will be made once the renovations are completed and the equipment and furnishings are all delivered and installed and the Center is prepared for opening.

Keep an eye out next month sometime for Announcements!

Effective Monday, April 15, 2024 the new Title VI regulations are official and in effect.

There will be many changes as we slowly begin the implementation of the new rules.

Any changes or new rules and regulations will be posted here to inform clients.
