She actually met with me in person, which sadly feels rare these days, and listened to the concerns I had about my health. She ran some labs during that visit, and a few days later, she called and asked me to come back in.

At the follow-up, she went over my blood work and pointed out a few numbers she was concerned about. I brushed it off at first but she told me clearly that I was in the early stages of type 2 diabetes and that if I didn’t make some changes, it was only going to get worse.
