* LOV Yoga was born on 11/22/19
* We made embryos for IVF on 11/22/21
* Marley was born (a week late) on 11/11/22
* I see 11:11, 1:11 and 2:22 regularly pointing me down my path…
Today on 1/11, LOV Yoga presents Grief Connection! Beginning on the week of 2/2 there will be 11 offerings in February (see calendar). Each week we will be focusing on a different theme to help process grief.

All of us are actively grieving something in life most of the time. We can grieve the loss of a person, pet, job, career, home, lifestyle, relationship, political climate, our health and just about anything else that requires big change. I have lost 2 husbands in the past decade and with it different identities, careers, pets and lifestyles. The question is do we acknowledge our grief or does it become something that subconsciously affects us?
I’m certainly still grieving. Grief remains because love is present for eternity but my relationship to grief has changed. Grieving makes way for new life and now I choose to walk with it, to grow through what I go through. After losing my first husband I ran from my grief until I fractured my ankle and couldn’t anymore. I slowly learned to process loss it led me to become a trauma informed certified yoga therapist specializing in grief, perinatal and cancer survivorship. This time around I have been able to work through my grief with more awareness and compassion. As I continue to experience the waves of grief, I also am able to find magic in the mess and hold space for others. If you or someone you know is grieving and needs some support we are here for them at the Grief Connection. We are in this together. You Got this and we Got you!
