Meet Angela Langdon - She is one of our superstar hospice social workers who was nominated by a peer for our Kudos Recognition Program. Angela has been with Patriot for 4 years and loves helping her patients and their families navigate uncertain times in their lives. She feels successful if she can make at least 1 person smile during her day.
When not working, Angela stays busy raising her grandchildren. She loves living in rural South Carolina.
Angela has dealt with loss of family members in her own life and believes that God has used those experiences to assist her in helping others. Kudos Angela for a job well done!

Our Liaison, James McGuire, had the privilege of taking an armchair trip to Ireland this week to kick off St. Patrick's Day festivities with the Veterans at Palmetto Patriot Home in Gaffney, SC. No Irish party is complete without Shamrock shakes and cupcakes!

Big thanks to the Heartful Hearts team for having us and for putting together such a fun speed networking event! Looks like we found our pot of gold this St. Patrick's Day in the wonderful connections we made. Farrah Dickerson (pictured in the middle), Patriot's Community Liaison, was guest speaker for this event. Farrah is outstanding at educating our community partners about our hospice, palliative, and in-home physician services.

Caring for people is more than medical. Hank is 70 years old and couldn't remember his graduation from high school. He was so sad thinking he didn't get to graduate. So, of course, he had to have a graduation ceremony!
