“The world can be saved only when life returns to its primal source.”
— Sabina Spielrein, 1912, Destruction as a Cause of Coming Into Being
What does it mean to return to our primal source as a way of healing ourselves and potentially, possibly, even saving our world?
In this Water Season Alchemy@theEdge AcuSpeak, Lorie Eve Dechar invites us into a winter meditation guided by the wisdom of Water and the life and work of Sabina Spielrein, a brilliant psychologist who lived through two world wars and the collapse of a world not unlike our own.
In the midst of the chaos, grief, violence and uncertainty in the world around us, Water invites us to return. Even as we find our own path toward righteous response and action, Water invites us to surrender and return to the nourishing depths of our own source where the opposites of creation and destruction dissolve into unity and what has died can be reborn.
Together, we’ll explore:
⭐️ How to stay engaged without despair or denial
⭐️ How to support patients through profound uncertainty
⭐️ How to access the restoration and resilience of the primal source without losing ourselves to the depths
⭐️ What attitudes and practices help us do the work we came here to do
This gathering is part of Alchemy at the Edge: Water 2026
