My Story
Place to obtain updates on Becca's current health situation. Share your support, love, prayers, uplifting words & stories. Personal background: Becca is a unique soon to be 22 year old young woman. She is the youngest of 4, all whom are very close. She is full of life & has an incredible soul that is wise beyond her years. Those who know her say she is like no other. Described as the best friend anyone could ever ask for, trustworthy, loyal, brutally honest, gives the best advice, & regardless of how she may feel about you or if you are fighting, if you are in need, she is there. Becca works full-time and part time. Full time she works with adult males that are working towards getting their life on the right track; re-entry house. Part time Becca is a pizza maker. The endo greatly impacts her work and social life. Thankfully her employer, fellow employees, friends, and love interest are sympathetic and flexible.
Update 5/31/2019:
Because of the endo Becca is prone to BV (which is a ph imbalance) and UTI’s. Recently she visited the doc to discuss birth control and obtain treatment for a BV. During this visit they agreed to try the IUD route for BC. That turned out to be a very bad idea. The procedure was excruciatingly painful. Caused the infection to travel. She was in pain for weeks and had a lot of cramping. It became unbearable and Becca decided that she wanted the IUD taken out. At the appointment the IUD could not be found. She was sent to have an ultrasound to locate the IUD, which was painful. Thankfully it was not imbedded and didn’t travel further up. Becca made another appointment to have it removed. The doc tried for over half an hour to remove the IUD and was not successful. It did indeed travel and got stuck. She left with a tear, a few nicks, an imbedded IUD, and more pain. Now her only option is to have it surgically removed. That appointment is in 2 weeks. (side note: the ultrasound revealed 6 large cysts on each of her ovaries)
Despite being a fertile myrtle, Becca’s chances of getting pregnant and/or carrying to term decreases as time goes by due to scar tissue caused by the endo and recurring cysts. Full Story from the beginning:
