Breast of Friends We are a group of Breast Cancer Survivors and Previvors from IA, IL & WI. We are a breast cancer support group. Welcome to Breast of Friends! Who are we?

We are here for you, no matter where you are in your breast cancer battle. Newly diagnosed or long-time survivor, we invite you to join us! We are improving the lives of women/men affected by breast cancer. We are a Breast Cancer Support Group of women/men from all walks of life who share the common bond of being breast cancer survivors. By having positive attitudes and sharing our experiences, Breast of Friends members are devoted to spreading the word that, “There IS life after breast cancer and what a great life it is!”
We give in-person hugs and virtual hugs through emails and our page. Breast of Friends recognizes that the challenges women/men face are very different from each other with this disease. We are so glad you found us, and we are here to help. We meet the second Tuesday of each month by getting together for dinner, giving support and sharing life's experiences. The meeting location changes month to month as we tend to enjoy going to different restaurants. An e-mail is sent out each month for the location.

We had a great time tonight at our monthly Breast of Friends dinner at Hangry Hobo in East Dubuque. The food was amazing. And even better was the Funnel Cake fries. They are to die for. If you haven't been to their place yet, be sure to go soon. You won't regret it. Yum. Piper was our server and she was so fun. Thanks Nick for opening such a great place in East Dubuque.

We had a great time tonight at our Breast of Friends monthly dinner at Ichiban. So much fun. Our server was so fun. He did a great job. Next month we will be meeting at Durty Gurts in Galena, IL. Was going to do Village Bar but they are closed on Tuesdays.

Had another great Breast of Friends dinner tonight at Thumser's 19th Hole. Food was great and the company even better. Mark Bodensteiner left before we were able to get picture taken. Can't wait to see everyone next month at Catfish Charlie's.

*****Just looked at Catfish Charlie's website and realized that they are closed on Tuesday nights. We will need another location to meet for dinner in July. Anyone have any suggestions??****
