This is a great conference for anyone interested in Environmental Education!
On Saturday, March 14, join us at the RIEEA 2026 Annual Summit: Education Through Cultivation, a morning gathering focused on how environmental education can strengthen our relationship to land, food, and community. bit.ly/RIEEA-Summit
Together, educators, farmers, land stewards, advocates, and community members will explore practical, place-based approaches to learning that cultivate resilience, equity, and care for both people and ecosystems.
Weโre excited to welcome keynote speaker Sienna Viette, herbalist and agricultural educator at Open fArms Retreat in Cumberland, RI, who will share her work advancing local food systems, Farm to School initiatives, and community-driven food pathways across Rhode Island.
The program also includes facilitated small-group discussions, cross-sector networking, and resource sharing focused on environmental education, agriculture, traditional ecological knowledge, and land stewardship. Enjoy a full hot breakfast, raffle, and door prizes. Leave inspired, connected, and equipped with ideas you can put into practice!
Registration is open and "pay what you can" options are available to ensure the Summit is accessible to all.
