We are hosting auditions for talent as well as presentations for possible vendors for our Night at the MCC if you or someone you know is interested please sign up and come audition on January 13, 2025 at 6pm. Sign up link we be posted in our bio. *LOCATION CHANGE* We will now be hosting auditions in the Multicultural Center multipurpose room. The MCC is located on the intersection of North Shaw and Farm Lane, west of Shaw Hall.

This event will be a showcase of the Black student talent here at Michigan State University. We are looking for any musician, dancer, comedian, business, etc… willing to showcase your abilities to a large scale audience. This morning, our Political Affairs Directors( Missy Chola and Tayler Jones) addressed the Board of Trustees, yet again, to discuss the ongoing issue that is the well being of Black students here at MSU. Both ladies administered powerful speeches that thoroughly conveyed the concerns as well as demands expressed by the Black student body. We are tired of the constant neglect and overall mistreatment of Black students and and will NOT stop until changes are made. Here are excerpts from both speeches.✊🏾

The Black Students’ Alliance would like to take the time to honor the life and legacy of the late Dr. Clifton R. Wharton Jr. Dr Wharton served as the first Black President of Michigan State University from 1970-1978. Dr. Wharton is in large part responsible for many of the initial changes and improvements of the Black experience here at MSU. His legacy will live forever as he is forever embedded in our minds.✊🏾
