In Imperial Park, our Friday Social incorporated a summer theme featuring Strawberry Rhubarb pie with vanilla ice cream. Attendees relished the camaraderie and participated enthusiastically in trivia and fun facts.

Today's Imperial Park bag decorating event for Kids Food Basket in Grand Rapids was a resounding success. Our team's focused efforts with crayons, colored pencils, and markers resulted in a fun and collaborative experience, and we were proud to showcase our decorated bags. Kids Food Basket's daily operations involve packing 700 bags with donated food, courtesy of volunteers, for delivery to area schools that have placed orders.

Community members enjoyed a festive experience in Imperial Park today, uniting to dismantle Christmas decorations with great enthusiasm and camaraderie. Special thanks are extended to Chef Frankie for assisting with the removal of ornaments from the top of the tree.

In a cooking demonstration held at Imperial Park today, Chef Frankie and his loyal assistant crafted a guacamole dip, with Chef Frankie adding his unique secret ingredients. The dip was a huge success, with many attendees having never tasted it before. Historically, the first English recipe for guacamole in 1697 consisted of avocados, sugar, and lime juice.

Horrocks Market's donation of lovely roses this week is a testament to their kindness. The roses have been beautifully arranged in various areas of our establishment, including the Free library, reception desk, dining room, and pub, bringing a sense of refinement and warmth.
