What an amazing Warming the ROC 2024 it has been! We surpassed our previous record of 396 items by 209 items for a grand total of 605 item. We were able to donate these to the Rochester Community Schools, East Rochester Resource Center, His Branches, and Coldwater Women's Shelter of Open Door Mission. All we can say is WOW!! And thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your generosity in allowing us to Pay it Forward to our community. A special thanks to our elves Manny and Cristi and donation sites: Luigi's Coffee .er, Tennis Club of Rochester and Mendon Racquet Club. We couldn't have done it will all of your help.

Meet Julie, Equestrian, walker, and our December 2024 Peak Performer of the Month.

This is a historic feat with Julie receiving this award for a second time! This time she had her knee replaced in February of 2024. Now, fairly bionic and able to leap small objects in a single bound, she is ready to take on the world. Julie can walk where she wants, climb stairs easily, and energetically get up off the ground!!

Julie says: "I haven't knelt in over 20 years, and now I can!! The dedication that everyone gives to each individual that walks through the doors of Peak is amazing. Little things like the dances we do make it fun and really enhances the experience. The laughter at the small, but wonderful accomplishments make coming worthwhile. I met so many other people with similar issues, and we could compare and talk. That's what makes Peak so special."

Karen says: "Julie brings sunshine to the place every time she comes in. She is able to focus on her exercises while making a new friend every visit! She loves the encouragement, and the "loving push" to do things she hasn't been able to do in such a long time. Julie was patient and persistent. She is a veteran at rehab knew that there is hard work for a while to get to the finish line, but she never gave up. Rehab can be tedious, but Julie adds that little flair and laughter to her hard work. She has practiced her victory dance and does it well!! Go girl!!"

Julie chose Lollypop Farm as her charity. A $50 donation has been made to the Lollypop Farm in honor of Julie's accomplishments here at Peak.

Way to go Julie!!

The Peak Team took time last week for a little friendly competition between staff. We showed off our chipping skills or lack thereof. 😂 The challenge was to chip 6 balls on one foot and another 6 with our eyes closed. Mike was the grand champion! Don't worry we will keep our eyes open on the golf course. 😉😉

There is just one week to go in our Warming the ROC 2024 Campaign, that means there is still plenty of time to be a blessing for those in need! Drop off your adult and kids, new or gently used coats. We are also accepting hat, gloves, scarves and mittens. There are 4 convenient locations to drop off items; Peak Performance PT, Luigi's Cafe .er on West Commerical St in East Rochester, the Tennis Club of Rochester or Mendon Racquet Club. We've already distributed some of the items we've already collected to His Branches , 12 -Rochester Community Schools and East Rochester Resource Center. They were so grateful for what we could provide to them. Thank you to all that have donated so far.

It was such a joy to share donations from our Warming the ROC 2024 with 12 Rochester Community Schools through the Rochester City School District today. They are such a wonderful group of educators that care deeply about the needs of their students and families.

Mike Weston, Executive Director of His Branches and Mike Napierala showing off a couple of the many items we were able to donate to His Branches through Warming the ROC 2024 and your generosity. His Branches is located on Arnett Blvd and is dedicated to partnering with others to bring HOPE, HEALING, and RESTORATION to the community through medical care and community development. They are excited to have the donations to share with those in need in their outreach to the community.

We have 4 locations to drop off your new or gently used adult and kids coats, hats, gloves, scarves. You can stop by Peak Performance, Luigi's Coffee .er , Tennis Club of Rochester or Mendon Racquet Club. We are collecting items through December 13th. Our donations are going to Coldwater House, His Branches, Rochester Community Schools, East Rochester Resource Center and Open Door Mission. Help us Warm the ROC!!

We are just a little over a week into our Warming the ROC 2024 drive. We have already received many items. Thanks so much for your generosity to date. We are excited to see if we can surpass last year's total of 396 items.

We are humbled to have people offering to help with donation sites this year. Luigi's Coffee on West Commerical Street is one spot, Mendon Racket Club and the Tennis Club of Rochester through a former patient are the other 2 locations as well as here at Peak. So, stop by and drop off your new or clean gently used adult or kids coats, mittens, gloves, scarves, hats or anything warm! Keep the donations coming!!

We are collecting items through December 13th. Our donation partners this year are the Coldwater House, Rochester Community Schools through the Rochester City School District, His Branches, East Rochester Resource Center, and Open Door Mission.
