Meet **Peanut**, a sweet 9-year-old pup who came rushing into **Pet ER** after being **hit by a car**. On arrival, our emergency team acted **decisively and fast** — stabilizing her, controlling pain, and performing immediate **diagnostics and full-body radiographs** to check for internal injuries.
Radiographs revealed a **right-hip dislocation** (luxation). Under **short, deep sedation** and continuous monitoring, our doctors **swiftly and safely replaced the hip** back into its normal position — all while avoiding the risks of lengthy general anesthesia. 🩺✨
To keep the hip securely in place and allow healing, Peanut was fitted with a **Slocum sling** for about **10 days**, followed by **restricted activity** at home. She recovered smoothly and **went home the same day**, pain-free and wagging her tail, surrounded by her loving family. 💕
