It is interesting how over the last few years of 'pandemania', there has been a surge in people wanting to know how to build their health, avoid medications as much as possible and come off medications if possible, learn about nutrition, understand their immune system...ask more questions. This is good news.
Firstly, this FB page is for information purposes only, please do your own research, ask your doctor/health professional about any health concerns you may have, seek professional advise when required. Be sensible. 🙏
Hormones is a subject dear to all of us, and we ALL have hormones whether we love them, hate them, or feel indifferent about them. I am referring to the s*x hormones here.....so you may actually decide you love them 😍
Just have a think about this....when women are prescribed hormones, be it for birth control, acne, irregular periods, painful periods menopausal depression, hot flushes, rage, PCOS etc...why are their hormone levels not tested first? ...if hormones have the potential to switch on cancer genes, WHY are they not taken seriously before being prescribed? ...have a think about that first. Is it that women lost 'sovereignty' over their bodies? Till this day, I very clearly remember being taught about the hormonal cycle by my male lecturer when I was studying the pharmacology of drugs AND how cleverly these synthetic hormones can 'fiddle' with the hormonal rhythm.
Why is a woman not tested to see
1. Is she producing the hormone? If so how much?
2. Is it being transported safely? Or roaming free like a 'maniac'
3. Is her body (her receptors) responding to the hormone, in other words is her body hearing them? And then CARRYING out the message
4. Once the hormone has achieved it's 'goal', is it removed, i.e. metabolised/detoxed and is it detoxed efficiently and effectively?
A blood test WILL NOT tell you this, and a blood test done on a random day is just extracting the urine in my opinion.
ALL women know that their hormonal pattern pre-ovulation differs from post-ovulation, and these patterns differ during the bleed. So it would be of no surprise to any woman that hormonal levels will vary or SHOULD vary on a blood test pre and post ovulation...correct?
So how is it that, this is not taken into consideration? A women's hormonal make up is very different to a man's hormonal make up, so why treat a woman pharmacologically like a man?
Western medicine is based on a masculine system, the feminine energy is 'kind of' way back off stage.
If you are on the birth control pill have you read the potential side effects?
If you are on HRT, do you know if you are metabolising the HRT efficiently?
If you are on estrogen and your liver is kind of on a 'holiday' then you can be setting yourself up for a variety of health issues, from cancer through to heart disease, anxiety, depression, bleeding, etc...
This is not to 'scare the bejeebers' out of you, BUT it is to encourage you to start to ask questions, to understand your body, your cyclical rhythm.
People of late have been ridiculed for using or believing in a drug for the current pathogen because it is used in horses ...but did you know that Premarin, a synthetic form of estrogen is from horse urine?
How is it, one drug is ok that has side effects of cell proliferation and another is frowned upon yet has saved lives.
Is it not time for every single woman to know what she is putting into her body, and the body of her children?....Until the Western medical system shifts to a more feminine energy this black and white thinking of this masculine medicine will continue to create more disease than CURE. In Ayurvedic medicine, in Chinese medicine the feminine energy of plants or nature of mother earth is HONOURED...as it is in HOMEOPATHY. These healing modalities are based in HEALing not in managing, not on 'one size fits all'. Have you sat in a homeopathic session? All those questions, which doctor asks you 'how do you feel about your dog dying? What foods do you crave? What does that pain feel like?
Combining the two energies, just like the yin and yang, acid and alkali, dark and light is where there is balance and healing and FREEDOM. There is no balance without the masculine and there is no balance without the feminine....
So next time you consider a synthetic hormone, be it bio-identical or not, ask the above questions....am I producing this hormone, and if so how much? Is it being carried around safely and to the right places? Is it being 'heard'? And then is it being cleaned out once it has done it's thing?
Women are complex, beautiful creations, there is no guide or drug book on how to run them. Thank goodness 🤩

PS. that hormone below is made from cholesterol...yep, that so-called 'villain'.
