Raising a neurodiverse child comes with incredible joy, love, and sometimes, real challenges. Every parent deserves a place where they can share their story, be understood, and feel supported by others who truly get it.

Support groups can be that lifeline—a space to connect, swap ideas, vent a little, and celebrate the wins that others might not always see. Together, families can build strength, learn new tools, and remind each other that they’re far from alone.

When families feel seen, confident, and hopeful, that’s what success looks like. It’s community in action.

Join The Neuro Bridge’s Caregiver Support Group on Tuesday, November 19, from 5:30 to 7:30 PM in Easthampton. Come meet other parents and caregivers, share experiences, and find the connection and encouragement that every family deserves.

💙 We need your help spreading the word!
The Neuro Bridge is building connection and support for neurodiverse families right here in our community — through sensory-friendly and supported outings, community trainings, and small-group and 1:1 play sessions for children.
Sharing and talking about our programs helps more families find the spaces and supports they need. Whether you know a parent looking for sensory-friendly activities, a local business looking to better understand how to support the neurodiverse community, or someone who just cares about inclusion — your word of mouth makes a difference. Comment below or contact Maya at maya@theneurobridge.com for a tour or more information.
💛 Follow, share, and tell a friend about The Neuro Bridge — together, we can make our community a place where every family feels understood and supported.

🎃 Trick-or-Treat Practice Tips for Neurodiverse Kids! 👻
Halloween can be full of fun and surprises — a little preparation can make it easier for everyone. Here are a few ways to help your child feel comfortable and confident for trick-or-treat night:
🧡 Practice: Take a short walk and rehearse listening for “Stop,” “Wait,” and “Come with me.” This helps your child strengthen safety skills ahead of time.
🕹️ Visual Schedule: Show a simple picture or step-by-step outline of what happens — putting on the costume, walking to houses, saying hello, collecting candy, and coming home to sort treats.
💬 Communication: Whether your child uses words, gestures, or pictures, practice how they’ll say “Trick or Treat!” and “Thank you!” Pointing to a card works just as well as saying the words out loud.
Small steps now can make a big difference on Halloween night. Have a safe, sensory-friendly, and spooktacular time! 👻🍬
