I feel like it’s so important to do age appropriate activities during therapy. I think sometimes it might be hard to think of ideas for kids that need more assistance. But since his mom loves TikTok, we made Jack’s first TikTok during therapy. It’s something all his caregivers can do together , and he had a very important job of holding his head up while we help him with the dance moves.

Therapy should be fun, it should be motivating and your child to see your therapist as one of their playmates!

Connecting what we do to therapy with participation in family… Brings joy to my heart when a mom says she can take her daughter out to dinner and she can sit on the regular chair and eat her fries just like the other kids which makes mom feel like “the most normal thing in forever” 💜
