As part of our ongoing commitment to , Northampton Post Acute has introduced cutting-edge technology into our . Our latest innovation, , leverages Artificial Intelligence and Machine Vision to detect a patient’s intent to exit a bed or chair 30 to 65 seconds before movement occurs.

This early detection allows our care teams to intervene proactively. When a potential bed or chair exit is identified, VSTAlert immediately triggers an automated alert workflow—notifying the assigned nurses and techs, as well as the floor’s central console, within one second.

To ensure no alert goes unnoticed, the system includes a contingency protocol that escalates the alert to the entire floor team if there is no initial response.

By integrating this advanced technology, Northampton Post Acute continues to lead in proactive, technology-driven patient care and safety!
