Compassion, kindness and empathy…pass it on!

In Denmark, empathy is part of the curriculum. Since 1993, children aged 6 to 16 have taken weekly classes designed to build compassion, cooperation, and emotional understanding. These lessons encourage students to share feelings, listen deeply, and support peers skills that research shows reduce bullying and improve social connection. By teaching empathy alongside academics, Denmark has cultivated a generation that values kindness and community. The result is one of the world’s most compassionate societies, where children learn that emotional intelligence is as vital as intellectual growth.

We will be doing just that Saturday, July 26 @ 9 am at Jacobsburg state park.

Becky and I invite you to join us as we tune into nature, our feelings and our bodies. We go deeper with tuning forks and somatic healing exercises to discover the “aha” moments. In these moments we learn the resources that can guide us in our anxious, distracted and fear led days.

Join us on this insightful walk as we tune into nature—becoming fully present with the sights, the sounds, and all the feels.

How can we use presence as a daily tool?
