New year new intro! I know you all see a lot of me, so here I am again as the face behind the account, sharing what you can find on our page:
👩🏻🏫 I’m a healthcare professional who formerly worked in the corporate world. More recently I took my skillset to the world of education and am a tenure-track professor in the university setting. This gives me the freedom to be a part of my kids classes, and aligns our summer and winter breaks for connection and travel!
- the content and worldviews are also shaped by my origins as a religious refugee immigrant. My family emigrated to the U.S. when I was 6 yo. We had to learn a new language and culture, while trying to keep ours alive. Of course this shaped where I grew up, the music I listened to, and my craving to make it all make sense by exploring the world.
🛝 Because both adults work besides travel, we share a lot of day to day life, local adventures, and all about our growing city of Eastvale, CA. We are a pretty private family so:
- we do not post in real time
- we do not show our kiddos faces
- the content is cleared with the whole family before it’s posted
- Lastly, since we are pretty busy and try to be as present as possible so the content you see is everyday shots with an iPhone. Nothing fancy, not much editing, we post what we see and snap.
🖼️ This page started because I wanted to share my creative side, my maker side. I design and have an Etsy shop for packing solutions, canvas pouches, T-shirts and more. What you’ll see:
- my continued creative work posts. Feel free to DM for consults
- storefronts and purchases for our favorite items to travel with, wear, decorate with etc.
🌎 Equity and politics are an important part of travel. We want our family to explore culture, world views, experience other languages, customs and traditions. Because of that our belief is that our local world should also be inclusive, kind, and open to all races, ethnic groups, religions, orientations, choices, ability levels and more.
Reach out anytime! We are excited for this year, to see others adventures, to share ours, and to continue exploring all that’s out there!
