Putnam General Hospital is proud to offer advanced 3D mammography today, giving our community access to lifesaving early detection close to home. But technology keeps advancing — and so must we.

Through Mammos Matter: A Community Giving Campaign, the Putnam General Hospital Foundation is leading the effort to raise $300,000 for a new state-of-the-art digital mammography machine. This Foundation project will deliver even more features, sharper images, and improved accuracy — ensuring that our patients have access to the best possible breast cancer detection tools.

Every donation is 100% tax-deductible and stays in our community, serving the families, friends, and neighbors of Putnam County.

✨ A Gift of Love and Comfort ✨

Putnam General Hospital is blessed to receive a special donation from Stitches of Love at Eatonton First Methodist Church. 💕

This group created 200 handmade prayer cloths for our mammography patients. Each cloth is stitched with care and includes a beautiful reminder: “You are never alone, for God is always with you.”

These tokens of love bring comfort, faith, and encouragement to women during their mammogram experience.

We are so grateful for this thoughtful gift to our patients. 💗🙏
