Introducing my latest knitting project, a hooded cowl! This acrylic yarn was so fun to work with and it’s definitely giving chain mail vibes! It’s lightweight yet cozy but airy enough to not overheat your head. My next one is going to be a wool/acrylic blend so stay tuned!

Almost all of our pumpkin plants were devoured by rabbits this year so I am so happy we were able to grow these 4 pie pumpkins and have them to use! Have you ever grown pie pumpkins? If you have tips for combatting rabbits put them in the comments please!

Last night was magical and oh so needed for me! My beautiful friend invited me over for an outdoor movie night with and her husband, I’m so glad I went. My soul needs nights like these with laughter, magic, and nature and I’ve been ignoring that part of me a little too much.

Can’t wait for this beauty to become moveable! When I was a kid we had a hornets nest hanging in our living room and I loved it. Might seem like an odd thing to use as decor but it really resonates with me. Would you hang one in your home once the hornets were all gone?

“She became the forest” and will now walk with us every time we step into nature. May we all feel her presence and hold her energy in our hearts.

She walked softly through the forest, yet her voice carried across continents.

Jane Goodall was not merely a scientist; she was a soul entwined with nature’s breath.

With patience as her compass and compassion as her creed, she listened to the whispers of chimpanzees and taught humanity to hear.

Her legacy is etched not in stone, but in the living pulse of every creature she defended.

She stood against extinction, against indifference, against despair; undaunted, unyielding.

Her eyes saw not just animals, but kin.

Her hands planted hope where others saw ruin.

And now, though she walks in flesh no more among the trees, her spirit rustles in every leaf, echoes in every call of the wild.

Let us carry her torch; not as mourners, but as stewards.

For Jane Goodall did not vanish.

She became the forest.
