Hello my name is Jerry "hotrod" Smitherman and I own an up and coming personal training business that will be opening after the first of the year. Over the course of the next 2 years I will have 3 certifications and 3 specializations. The three certs are Personal Trainer, nutritional coach, group fitness instructor. The three specializations are performance enhancement, corrective exercise, and b
ehavior change. My services will start out at $25 an hour and go up depending on the services provided. Discounts will be provided for anyone who wants a 6 or 12 month program as well as group discounts. My main goal will be to reach those in my community in Elmore County Alabama that suffer from chronic diseases and are struggling with weight loss or gain ( like in my case). To give a little background on myself; I have diabetes and neuropathy and I struggle with keeping my sugar down. I have actually lost the excessive weight that I had over the course of 2 years and found out that diet and exercise can help with both lowering my sugar and combating my neuropathy. It was this information that mad me decide that I could help others in my community with this growing problem.
