Its more than 1.2 million members volunteer their time and talent to further the Rotary motto, Service Above Self. Rotary Club was officially chartered on June 15, 1976 with a founding membership of 31 business and professional persons. Currently our club has grown to a memebership of more than 70 strong and is regularily recognized as one of the most active, involved, and generous Rotary Clubs in
this part of the counrty! Last year our club donated $50,000+ to local and international causes, charities, missions and scholarships. Specifically this event and your donation directly supports our programs: Rotary Reads, My Book Day, Cedar Ridge Elementary, Relay for Life, Boy Scouts, EPHS Strive program and scholarhips, EPHS Golden Eagle Scholarship, EPHS Above and Beyond Program, ABC House, PROP, PROP Shop, Meals on Wheels, Camp Enterprise, ABC Fun Run, ARC, St. Andrew Job Transiotion, Accessibilty, Inc., Operation Dignity, Student Ethics, Prairie Fest, Warm Hands Warm Hearts, Youth Exchange Programs, Vail Place, EP International Festival, Fast For Hope, Clean wells in Honduras, Safe Water Plus in Africa, Smile Network, India Village Clinic, Operation Outreach (wheel chairs), Hope for Tomorrow and the Haiti Relief Fund.
