My mission is to help you find wellness peace, moving your from pain to peace by addressing key pieces of your health that may be contributing to your inflammation and pain so that you can feel better, move better, and live better.
I help people be successful in their health journey through functional lab testing and an individualized program to address a person's healing opportunities with diet, rest, exercise, stress management, and supplementation. Functional diagnostic testing is not performed by traditional providers. The goal of this testing is to uncover hidden causes of hormonal imbalances (adrenal, melatonin, s*x hormones), food sensitivities, digestion/detoxification issues and gut dysbiosis/pathogens, which can lead to inflammation and symptoms such as pain, fatigue, sleep issues, brain fog, migraines, anxiety, depression, or autoimmune diseases such as celiac, SIBO, cancer, diabetes, and arthritis to name a few. The ultimate goal is to help you as the client maximize self-healing and avoid or minimize the need for medications.
You: I want to help coach you, moving you from feeling hopeless to hopeful and from out of control to in more control of your inflammation, pain, or other symptoms. In coaching sessions, you are the center and focus and so, it is important to have you be an active participant. You know why you are here. We will work together on diet, rest, exercise, sleep, stress management, and supplementation based on your individual needs and identify manageable goals and track your progress.
Mind: Stress is often a primary cause of inflammation and pain. It is important to have a positive mindset that can be supported by using helpful stress reduction techniques. As a health and wellness coach, I can support you to move towards or maintain a positive mindset. You can learn new techniques to reduce stress and, increase mindfulness. Reducing stress can decrease inflammation in many people.
Body: The state of your body is often the long-term result of diet and lifestyle. Coaching and education can help you to identify individual health goals and outcomes that are important to you. I am open to working with your provider (with your permission) to coach you on your treatment plan to address things that trigger your inflammation and pain.
Spirit: Your spirit is the seat of your emotions and character. As your coach and/or educator, I can help you leverage your personal character strengths to achieve your health goals.
Relationships: Relationships and community with others are essential to support you to achieve happiness. I provide community support and assist you with coaching and resources to change your health behaviors as well as with how to approach your relationships to be successful in your journey.
