Why skincare?
I have always loved anything beauty related! I’ve always been interested in wanting to learn more about skin and help myself with my own skin and others! I also love to help people feel good about themselves!

What inspired you to work in the beauty/medical spa industry?

My purpose has always been to serve and support others, and the beauty/medical spa industry gives me the perfect opportunity to do just that. As an instructor, I get to guide people in their growth — both professionally and personally. Watching students gain confidence and build meaningful careers is all the inspiration I need.

What’s your favorite treatment or service we offer, and why?

Tox is my favorite treatment because it helps lift my heavy eyelids, which instantly makes me look more refreshed. The boost in confidence I get from that subtle change is amazing, it’s a simple treatment with a big impact.

What’s a fun fact most people don’t know about you?

I love Broadway productions. I’ve been lucky enough to see a few shows in New York City, as well as some incredible performances right here in Minnesota.

What did you think you would be when you grew up when you were little?

I always knew I’d work in the medical field. As a kid, I dreamed of becoming either a pediatrician or a nurse — I’ve always felt drawn to helping others and making a difference in people’s lives.

What’s your go-to coffee or fast food order?

An Iced white mocha from any local coffee shop

What’s one thing you love most about working at Medspa Institute of America?

I enjoy watching my students grow.

What’s your dream vacation destination?

My dream vacation is to visit Norway. My grandmother is 100% Norwegian, and we still have family there, it would be amazing to explore my heritage and connect with our roots.

What’s one beauty/skincare/ hair tip you swear by?

Stay hydrated! It makes a big difference in your skin and overall health. And when it comes to hair, I always wait until it’s almost dry before blow-drying. It helps create smoother strands and gives better volume!

How do you unwind after a long day?

I like to go biking or walking

What motivates you to show up and give your best every day?

I feel immense guilt if I don’t lol. show up and be a good human.
