Prevent Biometrics

Prevent Biometrics Prevent accurately measures head impacts in real-time on the field of play, giving athletes and caregivers the information they need to make sports safer.

Every year in the US, there are an estimated 3.8 million sports concussions. Less than 5% result in a loss of consciousness and more than 50% go undetected. Untreated concussions can result in permanent neurological injury, including chronic traumatic encephalopathy (CTE) and second impact syndrome. Prevent is the first and only concussion impact monitoring technology that detects concussion causing impacts in real time, delivering alerts to caregivers that identify athletes for assessment.
