It’s official - Labradors are happy anywhere, anytime, doing anything. Even being buried in snow by kids. Or playing fetch in the snow. Or simply getting the zoomies because “snow is so amazing!! How fun is this??” Gah, his joy is so pure and infectious.

The requirement for flat buckle collars during therapy dog testing is my last hurdle. I am working to transition off of the prong collar you see here to a martingale collar. I am determined to then transition to a flat buckle. My training with him has gotten a little complacent, so I am posting here to hold myself accountable. We can do this! Flat buckle collar, we are coming for you!

He is really finding his chill. He still has that puppy energy to a degree but he is really making progress in his ability to settle. In public and in therapy dog work. And thank goodness for cooler temperatures that make it easier to take him places! Also, did you know Hobby Lobby is dog friendly?

I have gotten out to the kitchen twice now and found my middle schooler has thoughtfully left a bit of banana behind for Cosmo before she left for school 🥹🥹 She is so sweet. He loves banana so much!!
