🫀 CPR Tip: Hand Placement Saves Lives 🫀

When performing CPR, where you place your hands matters just as much as how you compress.
The correct spot is the center of the chest, right on the lower half of the sternum (breastbone) — NOT on the ribs or upper chest.

✅ Why it matters:
• Correct hand placement helps push blood effectively to the brain and vital organs.
• Incorrect placement can cause injury and make compressions less effective.

💡 Place the heel of one hand on the sternum, put your other hand on top, lock your elbows, and push hard and fast at 100–120 compressions per minute.

Knowing the right spot can be the difference between life and death.
