Processing- a journey of making art freely with no worry or expectation.
Engaging senses, observing, diving in, letting my mind be quiet or watch thoughts pass by- being playful with materials, intuitive, non-verbal, expressive, the act of creation over a final product.
It's useful, it's experiential and it's also enjoyable.

Watercolor, pastel, marker on 11 x 14 watercolor paper.

What do you think of when you think of play?

splashing through a puddle?
rolling dice and shuffling cards?
dressing up a doll to match your outfit?
taking your hot wheels through a home made car wash?
building with Legos?
scribbling with crayons?
strumming a ukelele?
hopping on one foot through a chalk design?
eating Pac-man ghosts?
sliding down a twirly slide?
trying to make your friends laugh?
blowing bubbles and playing basketball?

Put down those worries a moment and get to some playing! Your imagination station is not on vacation- it is within you!
