Lovely James came into this world differently than expected, but safely & happily! When I tell you his mama had more strength & grit than I’ve ever seen, I am not exaggerating. She used every tool possible to get her through her journey of pregnancy, labor & now postpartum. His dad stood steady around every turn, offering unwavering love & advocacy for James & his mama. I am beyond proud of this family & so incredibly honored to have been chosen as their doula🌼

Informed consent never looks or sounds like something already in motion. Huge red flag. True informed consent takes hold of the concepts of a conversation. One that explains risks and benefits, leaves room for questions and time to consider, and then the decision is up to the client. With the choice of No being a full one.

I serve the Florida Panhandle & parts of Alabama! I would like to reintroduce myself to all of you lovely people🐝

My name is Jayde & I am in love with all things birth! I am a mom to one golden lil human who gives me all the love & giggles a girl could ask for. Along with being a birth doula, I am also a photographer ( ) where I specialize in empowerment photography. As a family, we fill our free time with rock climbing & playing music! We have recently moved from the Fort Walton area to Pensacola due to my husband officially becoming an Army veteran⭐️

One of my main goals as your birth doula is to ensure that you do not miss a single golden moment between yourself, your partner & your newborn! By offering all of the support —physical, factual & emotional —you need, I work alongside your support person(s) & your medical team to create a birth you want to remember🌼

Sweet Magnolia was born safely at home surrounded by worship music, lots of love & a nice, warm pool. Her mama showed strength & grace amongst her surges while her daddy was there ready to fulfill any request she had. 💔IF YOU DON’T LOVE ‘EM, LEAVE ‘EM💔

One of the first questions I ask during a consultation is “Who have you hired for your care team?” Your OB, doctor, hospital, nurses & doula are providing YOU a service. If you experience trouble with your initial contact, during a prenatal or push back on your birth preferences, it’s a good idea to consider finding a new team✨

Your care providers have a large role in whether or not your birth is positive or traumatic. I recommend asking as many questions as possible to get to know your provider’s :

If you have had a sexual education class, whether it was informational or not, it likely did not teach you about the joys, difficulties & flow of birth. It is essential that you as a potential birther & partner are educated in the processes involved with pregnancy, labor, birth & postpartum life☀️

✨Couples Prenatal Workshop✨

Hello, beautiful people, Come join Jodie for a couple's prenatal workshop on October 28th at 6pm located at Stone Soups Healing Hut 314 Carmel Dr. FWB. The cost is $50 dollars per a couple to be prepaid at Stone Soup. This is a hands-on class please dress comfortably. Jodie look’s forward to meeting you and sharing some massage techniques to keep mama happy and healthy.
