Emphasis on a safe, gentle, and effective treatment of patients with injuries, acute and chronic pain, automobile and work-related injuries, as well as wellness care. I utilize a variety of patient-specific gentle chiropractic adjusting techniques, massage therapy, physiotherapy, nutritional counseling, ergonomic evaluations, and home exercise programs. On your visit, I will evaluate your condition with a complete chiropractic examination including orthopedic and neurologic testing. Your treatment will include a injury specific massage. This helps to reduce healing time when used in combination with the chiropractic adjustment. Restoring the proper alignment of muscle fibers is crucial in restoring balance and alignment to the entire skeletal system. Massage therapy also has many other health benefits including increased blood flow through tissues, detoxification of tissues, and stress reduction. The treatment also includes a chiropractic adjustment using an Activator, which is a hand-held instrument that delivers a controlled, light and fast thrust without undue strain to the patient. The thrust by the instrument is so quick that it accelerates ahead of the body's own tendency to tighten up and resist the trust of an adjustment. A Diversified adjustment will follow, which is the technique most widely used by chiropractors.
