Some of our clients like to volunteer at the Humane Society. They enjoy being there, looking at all the animals and independently helping with a variety of tasks. The experience is also meaningful for the clients. They gain confidence, learn new skills, and enjoy being part of a team that helps animals in need🐶🐾🐱

This week clients made Father's Day cards and painted terracotta pots! They independently re-planted succulents by filling the pots with soil and transferring the succulents. They all did a great job and were very happy🥰

We're excited to have a booth at the Cuyamaca Water Conservation Butterfly Festival tomorrow! We'll be there from 9am-3pm, with plenty of butterflies and other pieces of art made by our wonderful PFI clients. We hope to see you there! 🦋

Terrific job to the garden crew and to all the visiting groups who help out weekly, to produce nutritional vegetables and fruits! This week, they harvested garlic and strawberries!!🧄🍓 The whole garden smelled delicious with the aromatic smells. These guys work hard for sure and are incredibly knowledgeable and passionate of what they do❤️
