our nervous systems were not meant to constantly be fed dopamine spikes, leading to extreme anxiety and coincidentally apathy.

continuously comparing our lives to others’ perfect highlight reels, feeling either inadequate or superior…and we wonder why our minds are all over the place!

now more than ever, we need to wake up, put the phones down, and step back into reality.

…or one day you'll wake up and wish you would have.

Too often we think of health as simply not being sick. But true health is something much deeper…

It’s waking up with energy, being able to think clearly, and feeling strong enough to handle whatever life throws at you.

The challenge is that the things that steal our health often bring short-term pleasure: the sugary snack, the extra glass of wine, the late night scrolling. They give us a quick hit of dopamine, but they quietly rob us of vitality, focus, and longevity.

The real work of health is choosing differently - fueling your body with real, nourishing foods… moving every day… prioritizing sleep… managing stress. These choices don’t always feel easy in the moment. They can even feel like sacrifices.

But every time you choose long-term wellness over short-term pleasure, you’re building a foundation for a life filled with energy, clarity, and resilience. That’s the hardest choice you can make, but also the most powerful one.

Your health is your greatest investment. And the returns compound every single day.

Our Story

Jessica Farrulla is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Certified EMDR Therapist in Folsom and El Dorado Hills, California. Through counseling, Jessica helps couples reconnect who are feeling more like roommates instead of lovers. She shows couples how to put the spark back into their relationship. By drawing from her advanced training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, she gives couples the opportunity to build an intimate, playful, long lasting relationship. Jessica also specializes in working with First Responders (firefighters, police officers, paramedics, dispatchers, etc.). She comes from a family of first responders, so Jessica understands the unique culture and how the job can change you, affect your relationships, and alter how you view the world around you.
