What was the last new thing you tried? Restaurant, sport, vacation spot, board game, book, learning..
When you choose to take on a challenge you are exercising your brain to think differently than how it does during a normal day.
When you try new things, explore new places, taste new foods, learn new languages or how to make something you are challenging your brain and mind to grow. Regularly, adding new exploring or challenges into your life is part of your physical health.
What is something new you are looking forward to trying?

What do you look forward to everyday? That thing that makes you smile just thinking about getting a chance to do.. what is it?
Seven months ago, the world looked like it was coming to a halt. I AM SO GRATEFUL for the foundation I built in 2018, so I could adjust my mindset and continue onward through the chaos. I added more time outside and slower days to regroup my thoughts. Everyday, I look forward to getting outside in the fresh air, exploring and walking, and taking in the moment in front of me.

Having a ✨ solid mindset foundation ✨ helps you:

• deal with frustration easier
• reflect on the bad and recognize the good
• achieve happiness easier
• move forward when life is tough
• challenges you to seek new experiences, adventures, and feelings
• get out of bed and push the darkness away
• setup healthy habits around self care, eating, and movement

You need these five tools to help reshape your mindset 👍 and get you back on track 🙌:

1️⃣ Simplify your schedule and routines. Choose your top 3 priorities for each day, add in a few healthy routines, and you’ll feel less overwhelmed + more balanced. Try waking up earlier for peace, or going to bed earlier to give yourself the gift of rest.

2️⃣ Everyday say what you are grateful to have, to be given, to feel, and to experience.

3️⃣ Speak kind works towards yourself. Stop thinking negatively about what your not yet capable. Spread kindness and thoughtfulness outward by smiling and saying good morning to a stranger, volunteering, holding the door for the next person, etc.

4️⃣ Add self love as a priority on your weekly schedule. Figure out what kind of self care and self compassion is right for you, and spend time each week getting those in. You more you love yourself you’ll notice less overwhelm + less stressed + more happier + more contentment. ☺️

5️⃣ Focus on what your eating (good foods give you more energy), how often your moving your body (go outside, sweat, push yourself to try a new exercise/dance/walk further), add challenges for your mind (sudoku, learn a new language, take a course, strategic board games)

Fresh air and movement is so good for your soul.

👉 Make a schedule so your mind knows what’s coming, but keep it flexible.

👉 Each night brain dump all thoughts, tasks, and appointments.

👉 Add your three highest priorities to tomorrow’s to-do list. And the next three highest priorities to your bonus list.

👉 Make your planner or calendar appealing (checkboxes, bullets, color coding)

Having a daily to-do list helps you to keep your schedule and routines under control. When you complete a task and cross it off your brain sparks excitement and you feel the sense of accomplishment.

Over committing is a leading cause of anxiety and overwhelm. What in your day causes the most anxiety or disappointment?

How to have a good day ⤵️
Incorporating these 4 must do things into my routine have helped to reshape my mornings. 💫 I feel more focused and fully present through the rest of the day.

4 tips to help you prepare for a good day:

1️⃣ Start your day with a warm drink.
Healthy, warm morning drinks typically aid in gut health and boosting your immune system. And the added benefit of making you feel good by creating a calm and grounded start to your day.

Try one of these:
• Low sugar coffee or bullet proof coffee
• Cinnamon coconut latte
• Lemon water
• Turmeric Latte
• Strawberry white hot chocolate

** These recipes are available in the group:

2️⃣ Have a high protein, filling breakfast.
Focusing on having protein, healthy fats, and fiber in your first meal of the day so your body is replenished with good nutrients.

Easy breakfast ideas:
• Eggs with spinach and onions
• Mix and match smoothies - protein powder and almond milk are always the starting base. Then add what you feel like/have available: fruit, spinach, avocado, old fashioned oats, Greek yogurt, cinnamon, nut butters, etc
• Toast with nut butter, banana slices, and chia seeds
• Overnight oats made with almond milk and nut butter or fruit
• Greek yogurt parfait

3️⃣ Think about one thing you are grateful for today.
Before you hop out of bed or start scrolling on your phone, take a moment for gratitude. You are setting your day up to be calmer, more positive, more brain space for creativity and happiness. I encourage you to pause that morning moment to put happiness in your mind instead of rushing to scroll social media or turn on the news.

4️⃣ Wake up 30-60 minutes before everyone else to enjoy some quiet, alone time.
Use this time to:
• Reflect on your current thoughts
• Slowly prepare for your day
• Move your body
• Think about what you are looking forward to today

I think we can all agree that 2020 has been full of uncertainty, pain, growth, and everything in between. But you are still here, still enduring, still pushing forward, and still finding the best through it all.

Try to enjoy the moment your in, each day as it’s own time. Make the best of it and push forward on your journey.

It is okay to not have a solid plan in place, every thing keeps changing around us. Focus on a couple musts for each day, be flexible with how they get done, and open minded to everything that comes up.

How are you tackling this year?

✨”The cure for everything is salt water. Sweat, tears, the sea.”

I look forward to and love workout sessions, but this week I opted for sweaty walks and the chance to swim. Both were so good for my soul, and helped my body feel refreshed.

All of these help our bodies to naturally release and feel replenished. They are important and should be seeked often. Take care friends and get some salt water soon. 💕

Mama, when was the last time you cried?
The cure for everything is salt water. Sweat, tears, or the sea. #isakdinesen
Our tears are water, the earth’s surface is 75% water, our bodies are 70-75% water and our brain is 90% water.
Water makes life possible, and the water inside us is more important than we realise.
Dr Jacque Benveniste was a French immunologist and studied the memory capacities of water, he gave the world the phrase ‘the memory of water.’
In Dr Benveniste’s work, he discovered that water stores memory and transmit it through our water filled cells and tissues.
The beauty is, when you shed tears, you are clearing some of the pain from your old memories, releasing fear from your body and leaving a path for peace, transformation and joy to enter. It is a way to heal.
Water forms the pathway to our emotions and our intuition, which is our superpower in motherhood.
Tears are not weakness. It is surrender, vulnerability and cleansing.
To cry is to release and cleanse, it is a form of self love and strength towards yourself. You cry because you love, feel and give so much.

Hold yourself in that same unconditional love that you hold your children in and honour the feelings you feel. ♥️

Calling all the moms! I’m posting 3 quick tips for you to start using this week in your laundry room. 🧺

Head over to my free group to read them:

This is Cashmere, she’s a huge part of our family and this year fireworks are making her a bit crazy excited! 🐶 She wants to chase after them like it’s a game.. scary! ⁣

🎇Did you know that 4th of July 🇺🇸 is when the most dogs run away from home? They get scared from the sound and panic! Here are a few tips to help your furry kids. ⁣

𝘚𝘵𝘢𝘳𝘵𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘰𝘯𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘐’𝘮 𝘨𝘪𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘶𝘳 𝘢 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘢𝘨𝘦 𝘰𝘧 𝘗𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘦 & 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘦𝘭𝘭 𝘣𝘦𝘧𝘰𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘵 𝘵𝘶𝘳𝘯𝘴 𝘥𝘢𝘳𝘬. 𝘞𝘦’𝘷𝘦 𝘶𝘴𝘦𝘥 𝘰𝘪𝘭𝘴 𝘢𝘳𝘰𝘶𝘯𝘥 𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘢𝘴𝘵 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘺𝘦𝘢𝘳𝘴 𝘴𝘰 𝘴𝘩𝘦’𝘴 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘢𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘮𝘦𝘭𝘭𝘴, 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘢𝘭𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘥𝘺 𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘰𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘵𝘦𝘴 𝘭𝘢𝘷𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘦𝘳 𝘸𝘪𝘵𝘩 𝘣𝘦𝘥𝘵𝘪𝘮𝘦/𝘳𝘦𝘭𝘢𝘹𝘪𝘯𝘨.⁣

👉Animals respond to essential oils in the same way humans do, but their sniffers are more sensitive to the effects of them. ⁣

I always start with using oils on myself and cuddling and reassuring my animals so they associate safety and calm to these scents. You should just start with a drop so it’s mild enough for their strong sniffers. ⁣

⭐️We use them all over our bodies but for animals, working it through their fur is the best way to begin. You can also diffuse in an open area or make a room spray to mist on their favorite bed or blanket. ⁣

• For small animals (cats, small dogs and exotics): Apply 3-5 drops of diluted (80-90%) oil mixture per application.⁣

• For larger animals (large dogs, goats and pigs): Apply 3-5 drops neat (dilute if using hot oils) per application⁣

• For large animals (cattle or horses): Apply 10-15 drops neat (dilute if using hot oils) per application.⁣

• Apply diluted Frankincense daily to their spine⁣

• Animal Scents Ointment with Melrose on sores⁣

• Apply Peace and Calming and Lavender or T-Away around their ears when they are scared (earthquakes, thunder, fireworks, or vet visits) This is the best for fear!⁣

𝘚𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘮𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘱𝘦𝘵𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘤𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘴𝘩𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘩𝘰𝘸 𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘺 𝘳𝘦𝘢𝘤𝘵 𝘵𝘰 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝟺𝘵𝘩 𝘰𝘧 𝘑𝘶𝘭𝘺 𝘧𝘪𝘳𝘦𝘸𝘰𝘳𝘬𝘴! 🎇

Do you use these phrases?

🛑 Stop right now, save this post, and keep reading👇

When you use these phrases you are predetermining your failure without giving yourself a chance to prove otherwise.

You are believing that you aren’t worth the effort of trying something new, something hard, or able to accomplish anything.

Girl, I’m telling you right now that you are worth it. You can do it. And you should be trying everything and doing them your way.

Now I want you to start correcting yourself when you say these phrases or even start to think them. I want you to catch yourself, stop in your tracks, and push forward with what you are doing.

Many people, especially women, have the feelings that they can’t do it, don’t do anything right, shouldn’t be thinking about trying it, or are terrible at it so why try. This needs to stop now!

💜🙋🏻‍♀️ I used to use “I can’t...” all the time a couple years ago. I would get under the barbell and say I CAN’T DO IT. And I would basically beg with the barbell over me that I can’t do it, there’s no way I can push this away from me, I need help. Let me tell you that I could push it but my mind was predetermined that I couldn’t because how could I be that strong. My coach proved me wrong, she told me I could do it. She gave me the guidance, tough love, and continued to make me push myself. She told me YOU CAN DO IT AND YOU WILL DO IT. And you know what? I kept at it and I pushed more than just that amount I was thinking I couldn’t lift. I had to believe that I could do it and I would do it. I removed l CAN’T from my mouth and mind (and when it would try to sneak back in I would push it back out with thought of what I have accomplished).
