Hello everyone!
We are excited to announce our first-ever Fall Festival!
Hosted by Christ The Savior Church, located at 5301 Wadsworth Ave, El Paso, TX 79924 on Thursday, November 17th, from 10 AM to 4 PM!
There will be indoor and outdoor activities for kids AND parents, and BOTH are eligible for prizes of more than $50 dollars in value! But what's even more exciting are the skills and understanding you will gain from the incredible evidence-based workshops. These workshops will be 1-hour long and offered every 30 minutes, so you can jump into whichever one you feel most interested in!
Activities include bean sack races, tug of war, turkey costume competitions, arts and crafts, and more!!

We cant wait to see you there!

We ask that you open your hearts to a cause that may not directly effect you but has tremendously changed the hearts of the staff at Guiding Star El Paso. We are collecting monetary donations for a client as she and her family mourn the loss of their baby. What we need now is to cover the cost for the funeral home to transport the baby from the hospital to the baby's final resting place. It is true what they say, "There is no footprint so small that it does not leave an imprint on the world". And this baby has left an imprint in our hearts at Guiding Star El Paso. Continuous prayers are gratefully appreciated!

I had received a call from a 23 year old woman requesting an appointment. She had taken a pregnancy test that came back positive and was not sure whether she wanted to have the baby or not. She was eager to get an appointment, and who could blame her? She was holding back tears and I could hear the anxiety in her voice. I made an appointment for her for that same day, and she came in with a friend. After looking at her file, we found that not only had she known of our resources, but she had been to Guiding Star before - twice. Unfortunately, both of the prior pregnancies led to termination. Many women do not return for services if their decision is abortion. And of those that do, only do so because our services are FREE and at no cost to our clients because of DONORS LIKE YOU. This was the case for this woman. She came in and saw HER BABY with an ultrasound. She returned with her boyfriend and they got to see their baby together. Your tax-deductible donation goes towards the resources we provide these families at Guiding Star El Paso. It goes towards the ultrasound that allows our clients to see their babies, and it goes toward the staff that connects these women to resources in the El Paso area. This mom and dad CHOSE LIFE, because of the free services they received and because life-affirming resources like us exist.
