You have options on where you decide to labor and deliver your baby. You especially have options here in El Paso 🙌🏾 There are multiple homebirth midwives and birth centers! I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with most of these amazing women and you honestly can’t go wrong choosing a Midwife here in El Paso.

August is always a pivotal month for me. I became a Doula in August a few years ago and that changed my life forever. This August has changed my life too. No catches this month, but there were two transfers (back to back), an amazing home birth with the sweetest family, a trip to the museum, postpartum visits and more!
A whole month of transfers and no catches taught me something. Knowledge I wouldn’t have gotten if everything went the way I thought it would. Shoutout to the insightful Midiwives who reminded me of that 🫶🏾

1-2. I am officially a PRIMARY student Midwife 🥳 My first catch as primary was a perfect baby boy on 6/22 at 413PM weighing 8lbs
3-6. Doing the things
7. I was a Doula for a beautiful, unforgettable homebirth with an amazing family and VBA2C Mama 🙌🏾 and welcomed a precious baby boy (I’m still accepting Doula clients for home births www.dioncathedoula.com)
8. My husband and I went to a military ball

May was so busy! So full! So beautiful! 💐

2. Celebrated International Day of the Midwife with some amazing Midwives
3. I said “See you later” to one of my favorite Midwives and sister 🥹 But I’m so excited to see all the amazing things she’s going to do. Y’all go follow her

5-6.Two nights where 2 babies born not shortly after one another 😅
7. This is the one that kept me together this month.
