Today is the summer solstice - the longest and brightest day of the year in the northern hemisphere. It is literally the most Yang day of the year. In East Asian medicine it is the beginning of the fire season 🔥

3 tips if you’re trying to conceive this summer:
☀️ keep your feet warm
☀️ take a sweater to go shopping
☀️ avoid swimming in cold springs

I promise I am not trying to take away all of your summer fun or avoid summer activities. If you expose your uterus/ womb to cold often - you are more likely to catch a cold &/or have menstrual cramps. An embryo prefers a warm womb for implantation 💗☀️💗

True story: during grad shh co ill I swan too often in the cold springs one summer semester and I actually caused a cold uterus. One of the worst menstrual cycles of my life 🫠

This is my Dad and he was an immigrant ✨

I stand with immigrants for so many reasons. First of all, because my Dad came to this country to give me a better life. Yes he came illegally and legally. He was even deported one time before I was born. I believe he was successful in giving me a better life.

I am doing my best each day to make sure that I make him and my ancestors proud. I wouldn’t be here without all of their resilience and sacrifices.

I was made by immigrant(s.) I even make a living from the medicine that immigrants brought to this country. We are stronger and more alive because of them. I will not be a hypocrite and not support them. Wishing everyone standing up to injustice all across our country and world safety ✨💗✨
