Yes and it is not a good look 😑

Generally, this happens with mostly the 40+ yo generation. It is legitimately vital health information that can affect the health of the mother and future child. The good news is that it only takes about 70 days to improve the health of s***m. Taking herbs/ supplements and yes even acupuncture - results will be seen in as little as 2 months ☯️

I appreciate all of the couples that come with all of their labs and are ready to improve their fertility/ health 🫶🏽 These are the families that are able to feel better and improve their chances of a healthy pregnancy/ live birth.

Fertility is a team effort 💗

TBH I have never had a patient say they regret acupuncture before their IVF/ fertility treatment. NEVER. Most say to me “I wish I would had started acupuncture sooner.” ✨☯️✨

If you are prepping for your next round of IVF or IUI right now. During your IVF or IUI cycle(s) you can feel nausea, migraines, digestive issues, and/or emotional. Acupuncture can help reduce all of these annoying side effects. It can help reduce your side effects during your IVF cycle and increase your chances of a live birth by two fold with proper dosage of acupuncture.

✨ Breech Baby Presentation ✨

Most patients are so excited to be in their last 4-6 weeks of pregnancy. When they come in with this diagnosis of baby - in breech position, I do my best to calm the nervous system because they’re having to process so much new information with their physician.

The best time to seek acupuncture/ moxa (incense made of mugwort) for breech baby presentation is at week 35/36. Generally, these days I highly recommend to come in 3x in 2 weeks to help baby get in optimal head down position.

This was an incredibly exciting when my patient shared that her baby turned after the first acu session! This doesn’t happen as much as it used to like in the “before times.”

✨ < 35 yo, 2x week for 3 weeks
✨ > 35 yo, 2x week for 5 weeks

Facial acupuncture is a great way to:
✨ boost collagen
✨ increase circulation
✨ decrease fine lines
✨ decrease hyperpigmentation

It does not freeze your facial muscles like Botox. You can still do facial acupuncture if you get injections. About 4 weeks is a good time after Botox to have cosmetic acupuncture. (Avoid: facial acu if you are TTC or pregnant.)
