✨Deeply reflecting on our time in his space & appreciating it all. It’s been 3 years since we decided to open up our small business into a Community Empowerment Space & our lease is up next month. We are now in process of moving to a central location where we will be in an oasis spa. We will be offering indoor and outdoor massage surrounded by tropical plants in the desert. We are building an outdoor dry & wet sauna, made of ceder wood with 4 seating. We will be offering herbal steaming inside the sauna with yoni steaming as an option for a private ceremonial sweat lodge experience when you come for massage and hijama in the future. My mother will be offering body contouring & we will be expanding our menu of services while keeping everything affordable and accessible. Healing is not a luxury and should be accessible to all. We are here to continue serving you El Paso.❤️

♥️Tree of life placenta from client who birthed a couple nights ago. Birthwork is revolutionasry work. Being a doula, midwive & even a nurse in an oppressive workplace where doctor supremacy & misinformation for profit reins as ruler over birthing people’s bodies is revolutionary work. Keeping your placenta is a decolonial & Islamic practice whether to consume as a medicine or bury in the ground depending on what traditions you follow, you have the right to your own property & don’t let anyone disrespect what Allah has made by calling it biohazard. We know now that medical staff & hospitals want to cut the cord quickly because they get $50k to sell placentas & collect the stem cells that the baby should get for their own health & wellbeing by honoring birth plans & client’s decisions for delayed cord clamping, waiting for the pulse of the cord to stop. We know gravity pulls the baby down & you. Should have the right to birth in any position or place that you want, and yet we are oppressed by laying on our backs because the room is set up for the comfort of the doctors gaze & not the mama’s body. For these reasons, I will continue to fight through oppressive educational colonial systems to become a licensed midwife. Ilene need more options. If you or someone you know is birthing in a hospital soon, please connect them with us and stress, that everyone deserves to have a Birth supporter, and someone was professionally trained in birthwork and Doula services. You never know what will happen with these doctors and sometimes you are handed someone you never met before when you expected to be with your own doctor that you felt comfortable with that was what happened to my client two days ago and I feel so blessed I was able to step in and help as much as I could.♥️🔥
