Meet Stephani!
Fun fact-I massaged a horse for her back in 2018 and her pole barn house helped inspire our barn house build!
She’s a life long horse lover that has a lot to offer her area.
I can’t wait to see what her future holds!

Here’s a bit about her👇🏼

Hi, My name is Stephani Evans and I am a recent graduate of SBW Pro course!
I started my business, Innate Equine Bodywork in February and I currently offer Massage Therapy (CAEMT), and K-taping(Working on Certification). Soon I plan to offer Cupping, and Craniosacral Therapy.

What I love about Bodywork is the endless opportunities to add value to the horse community, so I hope to continue to add modalities and services, maybe even go multi-species! I want to see my clients thrive and succeed in their goals, and I want to see my own horses thrive and live long pain free lives.

A little background about me, I grew up a farm girl from Tamaroa IL, but now live in Eldorado IL on a farm with my Husband and Daughter, I have been a horse girl since the age of 5, competed in all kinds of disciplines but my current passion is ranch work at our family’s cattle operation, and when I have the chance Ranch sorting.
We also love taking our horses camping and riding in the Shawnee. I have a bachelors in Animal Science and Ag Business from SIUC, I worked for a Local Farm Service for 5 years as Manager of a store where I sold horse feed, tested forages, and made hay and pasture seed recommendations.

Played around with some tape today on Festus. Taping helps extend the benefits of a massage, by rewiring the brains connection to the area , or decompression.

Meet Festus, a 3 year old gelding he had 60 days training back in July and August and has been lightly rode since with a lot of time off to grow out in the winter lot. Frozen ground, and growing pains has Festus’ SI area reacting to touch. I am going to do some manual massage with lots of scraping work weekly to help him relax and heal these areas, in preparation for getting him in shape for the warmer months.

People often ask why would you give a horse a massage ? Well the answer is simple, horses are athletes , and working animals. Just like a basketball player or runner might go to a massage therapist , or a person who earns a living working construction, in a factory , welding, farming etc. The benefits of massage far exceed just a relaxing Zen experience. If you’ve never gotten a massage for yourself I would highly recommend that you add it to your to do list.

I'm so excited to start offering holistic equine services to our area. I fell in love with this type of therapy many years ago, and have recently completed my CAEMT Certification. Massage therapy stimulates healing, strength building, and overall health improvement.
