Pretty Pieces by Pa"Mela" Home Decor How this came to be...a year ago (October 2021) I had a heart attack. The doctor said to remove stress from my life. Ok, how do you do that?

Well, I quit my job and took a good look at the life I have lead and realized I have always done what others wanted or needed me to do. I tried to make sure everyone else was happy and had fun. I would give 110% and always thought I could fix any problem. I would get upset if things didn't run smoothly or maybe more likely the way I thought it should. But I have spent the past year thinking, dwell

ing and trying to figure out what Pam wants out of life. What do I enjoy? If I could have any job what would it be? I know what I am good at, but what do I truly like doing or want to do? It may seem selfish, but it's my turn. It's time to take care of me. (Not my words, but my doctor's) After months and months of thinking and dwelling I decided I want to do crafts. I have always seen pictures and said I can do that. I would go as far as to purchase the needed materials only to never have the time to complete the project. Well now I have the time. I keep my granddaughter every chance I get, am available to help with my aging parents and I DO CRAFTS.

Hello Friends, It's finally time. Swingin' Purple Door will be open tomorrow. You heard me right OPEN TOMORROW at 11:00. I will be open Tuesday through Saturday. Saturday my closing time will be 4:00. I haven't decided what the best closing time is for the rest of the week. Elgin stores close at 4:00 and Camden at 6:00. I am going to see how it goes and adjust my closing time accordingly. It may take a few weeks to figure it out. I would love to hear what you think. Garage Sale, Saturday, March 16th from 8am - 12pm, 2406 Mark Court, Elgin. Come on by. Don't be deceived by all the clothes racks in the yard. We have moved them outside to make room for all the good stuff inside. We have golf clubs, suitcases, designer purses, cooler, motorcycle helmet, men's leather jacket, stroller, gently worn and new Men's clothes sizes XS - 2X, Women's sizes XS - 3X, infant and toddler girl's clothes, home and kitchen items and so much more. Can't wait to see you!
